About the Director
Jock is a bachelor-educated engineer and licensed builder with a passion for blending his structural expertise with a keen eye for design.
He brings a wealth of experience in engineering, and both residential and commercial construction. Jock's upbringing on his family property in rural NSW, instilled in him a deep appreciation for the essence of home.
This connection serves as the driving force behind Flixton Projects' mission to craft spaces that exude warmth and belonging. Flixton Projects, named after Jock's mum's childhood farm, was founded to ensure that every client experiences the same impact of a truly special space, with a truly enjoyable building experience.
The Process

Get in contact by giving us a call, or filling out the information form provided with as much detail as possible. Should this be the start of your journey, Flixton Projects are able to provide Pre Construction Consultation as well as collaborate with leading Newcastle Designers.

Based on the information and plans available, a Build Estimate will be formulated. The more information provided will always help increase the accuracy of the build quote. This will help shape project inclusions and finishes, and align the scope and budget for the project.

Based on the knowledge and information gained from the previous step, a detailed scope of works can be matched with detail construction plans to help form your Detailed Build Quote. This section is where the real fun begins and often includes personalised appointments with our highly reputable preferred suppliers to assist honing in on finishes selections.

Once a contract is finalised, Insurances and Scheduling of your new journey can take place! We will then lock in our commencement date on the way to your dream project delivery.

Flixton, with you as a newly appointed team member, along with our trusted trades and suppliers, will then work to bring your vision to life. During this stage, there will be a tailored collaboration plan to ensure that you are kept up to date on site progress, able to make confident and informed decisions, and stay on top of any changes that you may decide to make in the most efficient and effective manner.

At this stage, your new project will be finished, clean, shiny and ready to move in to! A detailed handover pack will be provided with all keys, information and warranties. That won’t be the last you hear of us though. At Flixton we stand by our projects and workmanship, and will be back to admire well into the future.
